Hello! I’m Meaghan C.! I grew up in Stacy, MN. As the oldest child in a family with five kids, I started babysitting for both my family and others when I was 7 years old. I have always enjoyed being a caregiver and working with children. And so, stemming from my childhood experiences babysitting, I decided to continue to work in childcare throughout my adulthood.
I started working as a Lead Teacher at Warm World in April 2007 after receiving a Childcare Specialist Certificate from Rasmussen University. I love working at Warm World because it’s a very team- and family-oriented center. Before embarking on my career at Warm World, I held a role as Assistant Teacher at a center in North Branch, MN.
I’ve been in the same role at Warm World since I started 15 years ago and I’m still going strong! I love hearing what the children have to say as I sit on the floor interacting with them. My favorite moment of the day is when I first step into the classroom in the morning and all the kiddos scream “May May” (which is what they call me) in excitement! Just hearing their voices so eager to see me makes me feel like I’m doing this teacher thing right!
When I am not teaching, my husband and I take care of our dog Cash and our cat Sam. I love spending time with family, going camping, watching movies, and traveling. I also enjoy music which is why our dog is named after Johnny Cash!
